🦃 The Turkey Had Zero Knowledge

Welcome to The Next Move a weekly newsletter keeping you up to date with whats next in Sui, Aptos and the Move ecosystem. 🚀

Not a very eventful week unless you are a turkey.

Perhaps the current market headwinds have you feeling a bit like the turkey. The market fed you everyday for the last few years. You became accustomed to the hand that feeds.

.. and now you're the meal.

“Consider a turkey that is fed every day. Every single feeding will firm up the bird’s belief that it is the general rule of life to be fed every day by friendly members of the human race “looking out for its best interests,” as a politician would say. On the afternoon of the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, something unexpected will happen to the turkey. It will incur a revision of belief.*”

Luckily we got the next cool thing here to feed your mind. Sui welcomes ZK Proofs!

Honestly with the holidays I didn't have time to truly understand what exactly this provides as a toolset for devs to build. But zk is obviously the next new frontier and Sui has built a team around it so seeing announcements start rolling out has me excited.

We are also hearing chatters about being able to build really amazing consumer experiences by being able to leverage the native cryptography hardware of iOS and Android in a very straightforward way in the future. This will be a huge usability win.

Also seems like lots of new blogs and details popping up about Move. The auditing firms all seem to have gotten far enough with their learning and early audits for Aptos and Sui that they are writing about it. Check out in the dev section.

Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!
