DeepBook Live on Sui - Sui Blog - CoinDesk - Foundation

Sui announced in March that they where taking a controversial step and having a “Public Good” DEX called DeepBook.

I liked it then and I still do.

DEX’s are fundamental and honestly a good thing for a protocol like Sui to incorporate natively in 2023 imo.

Weeks before Sui launched they also announced that in the first “weeks” there would be 9 figure liquidity.

The ecosystem has felt a bit like it’s in a holding pattern waiting for that to happen.

DeepBook is finally live.

Only time will tell what happens next.

Gran Saga is actually fun? - Decrypt

Ever since Axie Infinity made a couple people stupid rich there have been endless attempts to make web3 gaming a thing.

It still hasn’t happened.

Play 2 Earn was a bad model and it looks like Gran Saga is very aware.

The exact way they leverage Aptos and web3 in game isn’t public yet but it seems they are using crypto for things that aren’t just a growth pumping ponzi.

It seems it is actually a fun game people would want to play.
