Ever dream of better logins?

No usernames, passwords, or private keys to forget?

Maybe thats not your vibe but its the utopia both web2 & web3 devs have been trying to get to since the first time an engineer had to build “yet another password reset flow”.

W3C and FIDO came together to write the WebAuthN standard to get the world to start using “passkeys”.

Passkeys are essentially a web2 native way to use public private key cryptography to let users sign up without emails, passwords, or the dreaded sms 2fa.

Its coming, slowly, to every website you use.

So can we integrate this thing with crypto?

Thats the big question.

KKlas from Kuna Labs who builds on Sui thinks that might be a thing to do and did a great, yet simple, explainer of what we need to bring that to Sui.

It would be super powerful and I truly hope it happens.

I expect to see a SIP in our future given that to make this work we probably need to add another signature scheme to core Sui.

Luckily Sui is built for that kind of thing.

Aptos Outlier Ventures Cohort Announced - Tweet

Aptos has partnered with Outlier Ventures to run an Aptos Accelerator.

Accelerators can be a great option for teams trying to get a project off the ground. Smart move by Aptos imo.

They announced the 8 projects that where accepted and will receive the $100k investment as part of the 12 week program.

They didn’t pick only boring projects thats for sure.

Lots of AI stuff, EVM on Aptos, and gaming co’s.
