The goal here has to get “Sui is FAST” into the minds of consumers.

They say they are going to “build immersive digital experiences that fans all over the globe will love”.

My mind is thinking about VR races with on track sensors directly posting to on chain systems. Basically anything that is cool and FAST.

If you create verified F1 data on chain you can create a ton of cool fan experiences with a nice “Powered by Sui” badge.

“Intel Inside” vibes.

I lost a bunch playing around with Zed Run a while back.

Perhaps when someone builds a casino on top of this F1 chain state I can win it all back. 💰

Aptos pruning begins - Tweet

This might be nothing.

I bring it up just because how you get access to data as a developer seems to be a constant battle in most of the scaling solution talks.

All pruning means is reducing the storage required to run a node by removing old data from node state. Deleting old files essentially.

Pruned data needs to be archived somewhere in some form and someone needs to be incentivized to do that forever.

The choices made here to scale the system inherently create pain for someone in the value stream.
