Certik awarded $500k bounty for Sui Bug - News
More code more bugs.
This is a fact.
Sui is not exactly simple and is definitely not old, battle tested code yet.
Certik found a bug that would render the blockchain useless and stop processing transactions.
Rightfully so they where awarded a large ( ish ) sum of money for their find.
I’m not deep into bug bounty programs but I do know that its a very important dance for companies in web3.
You must reward people for being good actors. The bad actors won’t ask for your permission to be rewarded and the consequences can be life threatening to your project.
Its great to see a wide range of security firms deeply participating in the Move Ecosystem.

It’s not that often the git repo’s make it to top of the newsletter but I really like this.
Sam Blackshear said it best.
"Sui apps are 95% front end and 5% Move”
So much wasted pain and effort goes into the connecting of smart contracts to front end code like websites and apps.
KKlas built a nice tool that takes care of a bunch of that pain simply.
Provide a small amount of configuration and generate typescript bindings for your smart contracts.
This is the way.
