The reason this newsletter isn't called "Sui Saturdays" or "Aptos Alpha" is because the real trend here is MOVE. Move is going to be everywhere IMO. VM's as a service, on all the chains, is just starting. Think of how many types of docker containers web2 has. The number isn't 1. Rooch is a Move Execution Layer. Move in modular blockchains is coming. A little bit L2 serving multiple L1's a little bit not? I'll let you decide. Take a look at the docs yourself. 👀

Aptos and Sui both have AAA mobile studios with millions of downloads of historical performance ready to run on their respective gaming sdk's powering the in game assets. DappRadar reported Q2 launch and Venturebeat covered more details on Gran Saga this week for those not deep into gaming ( me ). Hit it up to check out gameplay trailers.

Dorahacks did a nice research report ( they have a bunch! ) about using staking rewards to fund a grants DAO. Think gitcoin for Aptos funded by staking rewards and deployed via quadratic voting. Some number filled highlights:"During the 10-day voting period, 38,872 independent Aptos addresses participated in the first round of Aptos Grant DAO voting""18 grantees selected from 137 applicants went into a quadratic voting round, receiving 14,208.9 APT in grant funding — 4000 APT in hackathon prize, 6208.9 APT in community contribution, and a 4000-APT matching pool was distributed based on community quadratic votes."I was sleeping on DoraHacks && Aptos Grant DAO.
