Is Sei the new Sui? - Coindesk
Sei launched this week and they have nothing to do with the Move Ecosystem.
Or do they?
If you squint your eyes they are basically running the same pitch as the whole Move ecosystem.
The “Fast L1” pitch.
Their consensus is called “Twin-Turbo” which definitely reminds me of Sui’s dual consensus model.
They have a built in CLOB which is akin to DeepBook.
They even ask that developers put down the Ethereum Virtual Machine and try something new.
They haven’t raised as much money but they definitely have access to capital.
They even have some benefits current Move chains don’t.
They are part of the Cosmos ecosystem.
It’s going to be fun to see where this goes!
