Name services along with stable-coins and DEX’s are considered fundamental lego’s in todays crypto market.

Now Mysten has both a naming service and a dex in house. ( kinda )

SuiNS is ENS.
Deepbook is Uniswap. ( or Serum if your CLOB maxing )

Both decisions by Mysten lab will help to concentrate fundamental network effects before launch day even happens.

Fewer liquidity battles and one canonical naming service makes sense to me given their strategy and culture.

One question I have left is if M&A for Mysten is similar to Apple killing startups as they embed functionality natively in the “OS “.

The other version of this story is it’s just an acquihire.
