Move and ZK are the most important bear market tech trends IMO. I've been hoping for something like this to start happening. As a non academic, all I can tell you is that this team sure looks like they are the kinda people who do MATH for fun. I wouldn't bet against.
Axelar provides a secure general message passing system for a bunch of chains you have heard of. This partnership will let Sui devs build "super dApps" that work with lots of chains. At least thats the idea. Axelar is a unicorn with their last raise of 35m. I bet their VC's are probably friends with Mysten Labs VC's. ๐ I don't judge.

Sui vs Aptos has become one of the hottest debates.
Both teams come from Meta, utilize the highly anticipated MoveVM, + take different approaches to achieve "industry-leading scalability."
There's a lot to argue over.
