Sui goes testnet. Devs go wild.

Sui is finally to testnet. Compared to their main obvious competitor Aptos they have been slow to launch. But this testnet is just for validators. 

But... blockchains are permissionless. No one listens. This message comes after lots of "hey, I'm getting this error".

Closer to EVM Land, in what feels like almost too much coordination we also have Paradigm, Sui, and Solana agreeing that speed is all about I.O. The VM is rarely the bottleneck. Excited that as an industry we are finally talking about speed! 🏎

Kostas is trying to shill Sui to Elon and prove that yes, social can be built on a blockchain. I mean it it was what they worked on for years so I can understand they got feelings about it.

I co-hosted a twitter space with Starspace co-founder Chad and he taught me about another blockchain I hadn't been familiar with. "Linera". This one is also started by ex Facebook people. Investors include a16z and Tribe. They use Rust. Not sure they use Move actually but its interesting. ( maybe )
