Are Compressed NFT’s Bad?

This newsletter is anti-fud.

That said there are real tradeoffs made by every chain that we all have to consider.

Solana seems to be betting lots of it’s future on “Compressed” NFT’s or cNFT’s.

cNFT’s appear to reduce composability, increase certain attack vectors, and create a less expressive system.

They also make minting stuff stupid cheap and fast.

Sui is taking a different approach with lots more on chain data it seems.

It’s been the main topic of the week on twitter. It came with a lot of heat but also a decent amount of insights from critical thinkers in the space.

Everyone is playing with AI.

Parts of this newsletter are already generated by code and will likely get improved soon with AI.

Move is a new language and getting developers to adopt a new language is actually one of the largest ecosystem bets being made.

Tools like this will make the “Language Moat” disappear faster and help Sui, Aptos and everyone else in the Move ecosystem.

These are early experiments but expect near ubiquity for all devs asap.
