Chirp is Decentralized Wireless on Sui - Tweet - News

Decentralized Wireless (DeWi) is hype AF. ( to me at least )

The OG of the category is Helium who created their own chain to incentivize customers to install routers to create an IoT network.

In DeWi routers are essentially miners.

DeWi also uses “proof of coverage” instead of “proof of work”.

For context Helium Network currently has 990k physical IoT hotspots and 8,600 5G radios on the network providing coverage. 👀

… and they are migrating to Solana this month.

Chirp is first to plant the flag and say Sui is a great place to build DeWi.

Very exciting to see Sui and Move used for IRL infra. 🚀

Sui Series B Tokens cost $0.30 - Sui World

Non investors don’t usually get to see under the hood when it comes to pricing of pre-launch tokens granted during fundraising.

Sui and Aptos both got a pile of cash from FTX.

During the bankruptcy filings we have gotten more details than the companies wish was public I expect but here we are.

Sui tokens where valued at around $0.30 during Sui Series B.

Permanent Testnet means we are one step further to mainnet and we can expect fewer breaking changes and no wipes ( state deletion ) for testnet going forward.
