Aptos and Sui are both trying to court large web2 organizations to do things on chain.

Governments are just the biggest baddest web2 orgs that exist. Emphasis on baddest.

I’d say it is the right part of the crypto hero’s journey that the tech gets used by governments.

I can’t blame Mo for wanting a good excuse to hit up Davos.

Sui grants $230k in round 2 - Thread

Sui officially announced the recipients of Grants Round 2.

Here are the recipients:

MoveFuzz - Move fuzz testing

ChainIDE - Web based IDE

OneKey - Open Source Hardware Wallet

Cetus - DEX

Capsules - Object Standard for Sui

Movernance - Governance Platform

MomentumSafe - Multisig

Carbon - Decentralized Web Browser

The grant rounds are a regular thing so if your lookin for funding check it out.

Similar but different there are also funds being distributed at “demo days” at Sui builder houses. See Hong Kong results here.

Aptos Google Startup Program - Blog

Basically all modern chains partner with cloud providers.

It makes it easier to integrate and gets some nice social proof logos on their corporate sales decks.

The interesting part here is funds to build and access to programs that are actually probably worth it for many.
