Heres whats up this week:

The big pitch for Aptos is that its safe, cheap and fast. So far we have gotten fast, and safe but there have been some concerns around the cheap part...Aptos has a 3 point plan to solve this: - January 2023: 10x cheaper dynamic NFT's- Q1 2023: Introduce gas efficient data structures- Q2 2023: Separate storage and execution costsI can't help but notice it feels like they are learning from advancements going on at Mysten Labs. They would be smart to do so! "Not invented here" syndrome kills projects.

First time I've had an old guard news co in the newsletter. But for good reason. Mysten Labs is known for being the more responsible adult in the room when it comes to Move L1's. No surprise they are one of only two $100m investments from FTX that where properly disclosed. I'd bet Mysten required it. (smart) This has led to Mysten Labs being a feature in the SEC investigation which makes them a clawback target. In simpler terms, the government might ask for the $100m invested in Mysten by FTX back as part of making customers whole(ish). I can only imagine this would suck horribly but Mysten has some of the wealthiest investors on the planet on their cap table. Someone will opt to invest further.
